The goal of the Facade improvement Grant Program is to attract and retain retail and commercial businesses in the West Valley.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; The Grant program was created by the Community Redevelopment Agency of Los Angeles (CRA/LA) is committed to assisting business and developing vibrant commercial districts.&nbsp; Business Tenants (renters) can qualify for grants up to $20,000.00 per store front ($40,000.00 maximum conditional grant) Property owners can recipe up to $40,000 per storefront ($250,00 maximum conditional grant). As either the tenant or property owner have to do to qualify: Provide and executed CRA/LA Improvement & Maintenance Agreement, Provide an executed Promissory Note and/or Deed of Trust, Pay ALL necessary construction permit fees and other approval fees associated with the facade improvements and hire a contractor at Prevailing Wage rates as determined by the State of California..
