It was a good group that met at the Spectrums Open house on Tuesday, July 13. Chamber members joined with Spectrum members and the Spectrum team for a community open house. It was quite the celebration at the Grand Opening Ceremony of Topanga Area Community Police Station, The new Police Station opened with fanfare and fun on Saturday, January 3, 2009. This new stations located at 21501 Schoenborn Street will service the West Valley Area including the areas of Canoga Park, Winnetka, West Hills, and Woodland Hills. The borders of the station will extend from Corbin Ave to the County Line and from Roscoe Blvd south to Mullholland Drive. The are will also include a portion of West Hills north of Roscoe near the Chatsworth Reservoir.
