Another day in the neighborhood, well actually at the Chambers Network Breakfast sponsored by Pratt & Whitney, Rocketdyne represented by Mark Vetter.  I don't know what was in the air but today's breakfast was a lot of fun if you weren't there here is what you missed

We did not have a buisness card speaker this month, we will catch up next month with Kathy Rappaport from Flash Frozen Photography, but we did have a Lunch Box Toastmasters demonstration.  Lunch  Box Toastmasters is sponsored by the Chamber and meets every two weeks at the Chamber Office 7248 Owensmouth Ave, Canoga Park at noon.  Lunch Box Toastmasters was established for Chamber and Non Chamber members to meet and learn and experience talking in front of a group of others as well as one on one conversation.

A special thank you to Mark Vetter from Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, was our Breakfast Sponsor this month.  For those that are unaware, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne will be closing their facility on Canoga Ave after 50 years, when the Space Shuttle program concludes next year.  They do not know the direction they will be taking in the space discovery, a lot depends on the final direction this administration wants to take, but they are working on a number of research programs including steam enegry from sand.  Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne is not leaving the area, just moving into their other facitlites at the north end of Canoga Park at the corner of Nordhoff and DeSoto

\n"); document.write("

I've gotta give it to our attendees, in honor of Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne  we went out of space using the planets four our 30 second and everyone used their networking word with a lot of flair and humor.
